Why factory floors kill cheap connectors
Oil mist, high-pressure washdown, EMC noise and constant mating cycles. One intermittent pin in a safety PLC stops a whole line — these four failure modes dominate our automotive and Tier-1 return analyses.
Servo PWM throws broadband noise onto sensor lines. The 360° zinc shell plus metal clamp keeps transfer impedance below 20 mΩ at 30 MHz — no ghost pulses.
Robot wrists and linear axes see 10 g across 10–500 Hz. Self-locking push-pull and threaded M12 with anti-vibration grommet — no walk-off.
Cutting oil and alkaline washdown swell NBR seals. YXY uses FKM/EPDM seals, PA66 f1 insulators and PUR jackets — IP67 in the cell, IP68 on outdoor skids.
Tool-change stations mate daily. Hard-gold 0.5 µm over turned pins, 30 µ" minimum gold and stainless springs hold contact ΔR below 5 mΩ for life.

Case study — Tier-1 automation cell
